The Cagro Bike Library, run by the Green Living Centre in the inner Sydney suburb of Newtown, contains a fleet of specialist cargo bikes and trailers to allow riders to carry things that might otherwise require a car - from shopping, to kids, household items and more. Anyone can become a member of the library for a small fee, items are available for up to three days loan, and the first three hours are free.

The Centre (which was well known as the Watershed) is run by the City of Sydney and Marrickville Councils.
The fleet includes: an electric Gazelle Cabby Cargo bicycle, an Xtracycle Radish cargo bike, an electric eZee sprint, a general purpose utility trailer, a child trailer, and a purpose built dog trailer.
The Library was launched in September 2010 and builds on the growing popularity of commuter and recreational bike riding in inner Sydney. In the first 150 days of operation 77 library members had taken out the bikes 131 times and cycled nearly 2000km.
Anyone can become a member for a small fee, items are available for up to three days loan, and the first three hours are free. There is a special weekend rate of just $20 for Saturday – Tuesday.
