Rental Bikes Are the New Rental Cars

Following what is now considered totally normal in Europe (why must we always be last!), an online bike rental program has launched in North America. Targeting travelers and day-tripper alike, Rentabikenow means that the next time you need to go to Chicago or New York or, oh, I don't know, Portland, you can bulk in a bike rental with your travel plans. You just plug in your location (144 cities have signed up), your dates, your destination address, and a list of almost two dozen bikes pop up-for $25-45 a day, or about $120 for the week.
