Hobart City Council Sustainable Transport Strategy 2009-14 (Australia)
The Hobart City Council's Sustainable Transport Strategy 2009 – 2014 proposes extensive bus ways, a connected high quality bicycle network, projects to assist commuters from rural and satellite areas to car pool and programs to assist individuals to understand the travel choices available to them.

The Sustainable Transport Strategy has seven goals:
- Provide high quality Sustainable Transport Infrastructure.
- Educate staff, residents and visitors about Sustainable Transport for Hobart.
- Increase take up of Sustainable Transport Options and arrest growth in vehicle numbers on key arterial roads.
- Manage parking supply to promote and support Sustainable Transport.
- Promote Integrated Land Use and Transport Planning.
- Create an appropriate forum for Greater Hobart Councils to pursue Sustainable Transport opportunities.
- Pursue policy and institutional reforms within the Council and the State Government.
