Gosford City Council Draft Bike Plan 2011 (Australia)

Gosford City Council's Draft Bike Plan 2011 was released in September 2011 for public comment. The Council is inviting comment via traditional written submissions along with online polls and discussions.

The plan provides strategic guidance in the delivery of a safe, well connected and comfortable cycling environment. Initiatives include recommended projects, programs and
policies to encourage cycling for the next 10 years and beyond.

Priorities and targets of the plan include:

Input was sought from Council staff and key stakeholders during the preparation of the draft report. Further input will be sought from relevant community groups during the public exhibition period to ensure that the greatest number of potential cyclists are encouraged to use the network.
