In August 2011 the Danish Cycling Embassy released a compendium of 14 cycle campaigns. This catalogue gives an overview of campaigns for adults and children, their goals, how they worked in practice, and their results.

The report says that while it's not easy to implement a successful campaign that transfers a greater number of car drivers or users of public transport to the bicycle, that it can be done with care and realistic expectations.
The report includes Danish experiences with:

• Use of new media and technology
• Co-operation between different parties
