Bendigo Recreational and Tourism Routes (Australia)

Bendigo Tourism and the City of Bendigo have produced a series of resources to promote recreational and tourism cycling in the local area. Resources include a dedicated Cycling Bendigo website and brochures outlining themed, self-guided, cycling trails.

The Cycling Bendigo website provides information about the local aea along with information about trails and local cycling events.

Four Winery Cycling Trails have been created to lead cyclists to the cellar door of wineries and alert them to other stops along the way.

The O’Keefe Rail Trail is a 19km trail linking the rural township of Axedale with Bendigo and taking in the Bendigo Field Naturalists Flora Reserve and the Axedale Cemetery.

The Bendigo Bushland Trail consists of bicycle and walking tracks, as well as some road tracks.  It encircles the urban area of Bendigo and covers a total distance of 65km. The Mulga Bill Bicycle Trail explores the mining history and natural attractions of Eaglehawk
