About

The Australian Bicycle Council Visit Site (ABC) consists of representatives of state, territory and local governments, the cycling industry and bicycle users. It has responsibility for the coordination and implementation of the Australian National Cycling Strategy 2005-2010 View PDF (NCS) and reports on its implementation to Australian Transport ministers. The operational support for the ABC is provided by Austroads, the association of Australian and NZ road transport and traffic authorities.

One of the actions proposed in the NCS is the establishment of a web-based cycling resource centre as a repository for data, information and best practice relating to cycling planning, policy, programs and projects.
